Dr. Kimmy Wong

Dr. Kimmy was born and raised in Mountain View, California before heading down to San Diego to receive her Bachelors degree in Human Biology at UCSD while working as a barista in the best coffee shop ever. After graduating, she spent two years in the rainforests of Suriname, South America with Peace Corps as a health volunteer. While serving in her community, Dr. Kimmy noticed many musculoskeletal conditions due to activities of daily life and wished she had a tangible approach to prevent and relieve pain and improve function. She decided to pursue chiropractic and has a passion for educating her patients on strategies to maintain optimal health.

While a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Dr. Kimmy served as a Motion Palpation Institute representative, facilitated technique clubs on campus, and assisted in various technique seminars. She also has been on 3 mission trips providing chiropractic care to underserved communities in El Salvador and Jamaica. She has had the privilege of working with athletes at events such as the North Face Endurance Challenge in Marin, San Jose Turkey Trot, and at the Ironman championship in Kona.

Upon graduation, Dr. Kimmy received the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award for her graduating class as well as the Class Fellowship Award. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and is a member of the Pi Tau Delta Chiropractic Honors Society.  Kimmy enjoys working with people of all ages and incorporates a variety of manual therapy and chiropractic techniques to promote optimal function and health.
